Bowmore is the oldest Islay distillery and was first founded in 1779, however some believe it may be even older as the founder David Simpson first purchased the land in 1766! They produce their whisky and mature this in the No.1 Vaults, where they have done so for over 200 years!
The tradition of Whisky making has been passed down from the founder David Simpson through the skills and expertise he gained we are able to appreciate such a fantastic selection.
