From the Chichibu Distillery comes Ichiro's Malt Wine Reserve Whisky which is produced from a variety of Single Malt Whiskies that are blended together and finished in Wine casks made from French Oak, adding a Floral and Nutty Character.

Before the Original malts are blended they have already been aged in a selection of ex-bourbon barrels, hogsheads and puncheons, these are then transferred to French Wine casks, also referred to as Ovum casks.

The result is an elegant and rich whisky with an infusion of Red Berries, Forest Fruits, Candied Citrus and White Flowers on the nose with the Dark Chocolate, Ginger and touches of Pepper on the palate before a lingering Oaky finish.
