From the Chichibu distillery in Saitama, this release from Ichiro Akuto is a single malt whisky which has been aged inside Red Wine casks.

Using a combination of Red Wine casks from a selection of four different countries including: France, New Zealand, USA and Japan, all imparting their own delicate flavours to the Whisky before being expertly blended together by Ichiro Akuto.

The result is a Whisky that has delicate Blueberry, Candied Orange and Salted Caramel on coming through on the nose, with notes of Rich Cinnamon, Clove and a hint of Menthol on the palate with a Milk Chocolate finish..
