The Patron Tequila is only made and produced in the Hacienda Patron in Mexico. The Agave is a Slow Ripened Plant which takes up to 8 years to fully mature, so the Jimadors have to be highly skilled to ensure they only get the Ripest and Sweetest Agave.
After this has been harvested the Patron team hand chop the Agave and cook in small brick ovens to ensure that the Agave is closely watched and evenly roasted. This is then run in a mill which has a Two Ton Volcanic Stone Takona Wheel which press the Agave. This is then fermented for a minimum of three days or in certain cases longer (Anejo 7 Anos).
